Are you an organized person who enjoys people AND loves cake-in-a-cup? Come join our team! We are looking for a customer care administrator and assistant to enable us to finally welcome guests into our newly renovated shop!

As of August 18, 2022, the current job openings include: 

Customer Care Administrator

Qualified candidates will be organized, reliable self-starters with computer proficiency and basic math skills. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are required as is a conversational understanding of cake decorating. While no decorating will be performed by the person filling this position, an ability to competently discuss cake design with customers is required. In addition to phone, email and in-person communication with customers, this position also includes varied tasks such as occasional handling and packaging of baked goods, retail merchandise inventory and other organizational tasks.

Please note: This is not a creative or seasonal position.

Hours:

• Tuesday – Wednesday:  8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.
• Thursday – Friday:  9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
• Saturday:  8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
• May consider someone with regular, part-time availability of at least 28 hours per week if available for a set schedule.

Wage:

• Starts at $17/hr.

Bakery & Customer Care Assistant

Qualified candidates will be outgoing, energetic, positive individuals with excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. An ability to competently discuss cake design with customers is a plus!  In addition to phone, email and in-person communication with customers, this position also includes varied tasks such as basic preparation and packaging of baked goods.

Bakery assistant roles:

• Helping customers
• Making phone calls
• Sending emails to customers
• Scooping, baking and wrapping cookies
• Cutting and wrapping cake tastings
• Making boxes
• Boxing cakes and cookies
• Light cleaning
• Various other bakery duties

Hours:

• Very flexible hours within these times:
  • Tuesday – Wednesday:  8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Thursday – Friday:  9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
  • Saturday:  8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Wage:

• Starts at $14/hr.
